These protein balls are the perfect 3pm pick you up when you feel like something sweet but don't want the horrible sugar high (and soon to be low.) They are a great way to satisfy your sugar cravings and a good boost of protein and healthy fats to help tie you over between meals.
They are perfect to make at the start of the week and keep in the fridge or make with friends as a healthy chocolate alternative.
1/2 cup of medjool dates (pitted)
4 tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 cup of raw cacao Four Protein powder
1 cup of almonds
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1. Combine almonds in a food processor until ground. Add remaining ingredients and blend until combined.
2. Roll mixture into small balls and place in the fridge for 20 minutes minimum to set.
3. Store in the fridge.
